FAQ
Where should I stay for lodging?
The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn near the Sacramento airport. Use our group code "DCP" for discounted room rates (good until room code has been used up by attendees).
What makes this different than other events?
Unlike other events which focus mainly on skill building, CIA26 will add an important and often ignored element: you. We don't just teach you how to do the work, we teach you how to carry the weight of the work. Birth professionals need this now more than ever.
How can I get reimbursed by my employer for this event?
Glad you asked! CIA26 is worth 7 CE hours and we want to help you take advantage of any training sponsorship you have through your employer. You can download and print our Reimbursement Packet here.
What if I have to cancel?
We expect to sell out our seats so we will not be able to offer reimbursements for cancellation. That said, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another attendee at any time.
Who is this event for?
This event is designed for all bedside professionals who support perinatal families, including nurses, midwives, OBs, doulas, lactation consultants etc. This training offers tools and renewal for anyone navigating the emotional complexity of direct perinatal care. (Note: this is content is not intended for mental health professionals).
Who do I contact with questions?
You can get in touch at our contact page!
