Care In Action was created for the people doing the real work of caring for families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, and everything that does not go according to plan.

After decades of teaching, traveling, working alongside birth professionals, and listening to what you actually face in the room, I wanted to create the kind of training day I wish existed more often: practical, honest, clinically useful, and deeply human.

Because you were taught how to do your job.

​

You probably were not taught what to do when a patient is terrified, grieving, becoming psychiatrically unwell, struggling after a traumatic birth, or when the work starts following you home.

Care In Action is about both: better care for the families we serve and better support for the professionals serving them.
